Rochester is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Rochester is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Such a fantastic dairy store! I really appreciated that all the milk is VAT pasteurizedβit gave everything a fresh, high-quality taste you can actually notice. But the real standout for me was the cookiesβ¦ absolutely to die for! We ended up trying all 8 flavors, and every single one was incredible. Itβs rare to find a place where everything hits the mark like this. Definitely a spot Iβll keep coming back to!

We loved the original Pittsford Farms Dairy so much that we made a point to visit their second location closer to downtown Rochester β and it did not disappoint. Although this location is much smaller, itβs tucked into a lively, walkable neighborhood with a charming vibe. The interior retains the same rustic charm β warm wood-paneled walls, black-and-white chalkboard menus, and shelves lined with local products like pasta sauces, salts, and preserves. The vintage ice cream parlor feel is alive here too, complete with glowing marquee lights that spell out βICE CREAMβ and old-fashioned dairy crates that serve as display tables. Despite arriving at 8:30 pm, there was still a long line β proof that the quality here matches the original. We got: π« A chocolate waffle cone β rich, creamy, deeply cocoa-y. π A lemon blueberry waffle cone β refreshing, tangy, beautifully balanced. π₯ A bottle of their farm-fresh milk β as smooth and nostalgic as always. π° A New York-style cheesecake β decadent but not overly sweet, with perfect texture. π₯£ A few Ithaca yogurts β fresh, tangy, and naturally sweet. Everything was delicious. Even in a more compact setting, Pittsford Farms still manages to del

Their made from scratch ice cream is so delicious. Iβm sure I have steadily made my way through the majority of flavours over the years. I love how innovative some of their flavours are and they work! This shop has something for all ages and tastes. From ice cream to sundaes to milkshakes, lattes and floats. They also have a fantastic selection of milks, cheeses, pastas, yoghurt, soups and many, many more items on offer. The shop is beautifully set out and the staff are always friendly and helpful. We love this place. Off street parking is available.

Had to wait 10 minutes to get in because the employee was on break. However, I was visiting from Buffalo and I'm a big fan of Perry's ice cream but this place might have them beat. The butterscotch chip ice cream was phenomenal and so was the lemon bar. My significant other loved her red velvet cheesecake and ice cream as well. Definitely will be returning soon βΊοΈ

Amazing soft cream custard here! Very milkey flavor. Small was just enough for 2 $3.95. Lotβs of yummy treats here including home made pies and hard ice cream. Only ice cream shop on Park Ave now! We tried mint and vanilla custard twist and it was magical best in ROC. Surprised to see many seasonal pumpkin flavors including a non-dairy version! Pumpkin custard would be awesome hopefully theyβll make it?? Coffee and tea is also available. Outside seating is available but only chairs no tables.
